How Claruss collects and manages user consent for SMS messages.
Claruss sends only transactional one-time passcode (OTP) messages for verifying app unlock requests. These are not marketing or promotional messages. A typical message looks like:
SMS messaging is entirely opt-in. Users must take the following explicit steps within the Claruss iOS app:
No SMS messages are sent unless the user has completed all three steps. Users accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy during account registration.
Users must actively choose SMS delivery and provide their phone number. The default delivery method is email — SMS is never pre-selected or assumed.

Messages are sent only when a user or their accountability partner requests an unlock code. Most users receive fewer than 5 messages per day. Claruss never sends marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS.
