By creating an account or using the Claruss app (“Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Claruss is a screen time management app that blocks apps and websites on a user-defined schedule. Unlocking blocked content requires a one-time passcode (OTP) delivered via email or SMS. Users may optionally designate an accountability partner who must also verify unlock requests.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Claruss. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You agree not to:
The accountability partner feature requires mutual consent. Both parties must have active Claruss accounts. Either party may revoke the partnership at any time. Claruss is not responsible for disputes between users and their accountability partners.
If you opt in to SMS OTP delivery, you consent to receiving transactional text messages from Claruss. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or changing your notification preferences in the app. See our SMS Consent page for details.
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Claruss is not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by service interruptions.
Claruss is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Upon deletion, all your personal data, rules, lock history, and partnerships will be permanently removed from our servers.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
